Should Shatta Wale Apologise and Pick up Nomination Forms for VGMA 2017?

 

We all know of the issue  between Shatta Wale and Charter House, the organisers of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards—which seeks to reward musicians for their hard work down here in Ghana.
For sometime now, Shatta has been at logger heads with the award scheme per his claims that, the award scheme is corrupt—exploiting artiste rather than rewarding them.
Prior to this, Shatta Wale’s plea for possible consideration for awards last year 2016 wasn’t paid heed to—on the grounds that he (Shatta Wale), must render an official apology for defamation of the award scheme sometime back.


Nonetheless, although the Kakai hitmaker was denied, he moved on to win 21 solid Awards last year (both home and abroad).
Meaning Shatta Wale can still do well without the VGMAs right?
However,let’s not forget this—the influence of the VGMAs cannot be in anyway underestimated.

Now the big question is, should Shatta Wale pick up nomination forms and render an apology to Charter House for him to be considered nominations at VGMA 2017?
